How long does insurance have to pay a claim?
The Insurance Contract Law, article 18, establishes that the insurer must pay the minimum amount known by it within a maximum period of 40 days from the notification of the claim by the insured.

How long does it take for the insurance expert to come?
In car accidents, the expert will always go to a workshop on the date indicated, requesting it one day before. In various claims, the intervention period ranges between 24/48 hours. Although in urgent cases, this period can be shortened.
What can I do if I disagree with the insurance adjuster?
If you are not satisfied with the opinion of the insurance expert, you can appoint a private expert who contrasts the valuation of the first. If both experts do not reach an understanding, a third independent expert may be appointed to act as arbitrator. All this is regulated in article 38 of the Insurance Contract Law.
Can interest on arrears be claimed from the insurer?
Si interest on arrears can be claimed from the insurance company, if the payment of compensation is delayed more than 90 days from the communication of the claim. In addition, you should know that after 40 days, the company must pay the minimum amount that it could know up to that moment.
