According to the latest published data, the maximum savings for the State would be around €8.103.000. According to the recent report by the Institute for the Development and Integration of Health (IDIS), Spain has 7,4 million people insured by private health, who do not use (or do so sporadically) the resources of the National System of Health. According to statements by the general director of IDIS, Manuel Vilches, "private insurance saves the National Health System between 4.204 million euros and 8.103 million euros per year depending on whether they are used in a mixed or exclusive way."
