The latest draft of the General Traffic Regulations would modify the current speed limits both in cities and on highways, motorways and secondary roads for after this summer.
The motorhomes they could have limits of 120 km/h on highways and dual carriageways, and 90 km/h on secondary roads with wide carriageways.
The Bus that can carry standing passengers or do not have seat belts installed will not be able to go faster than 80 km/h.
Cars and motorcycles Two or three-wheelers could circulate at 130 km/h when indicated by message panels "temporarily and in sections where there are proven safety indices, good layout and paving conditions, and optimal weather and environmental conditions" . On conventional roads, the speed limit for cars, motorcycles and quadricycles drops from 100 to 90 km/h when traveling on a road with a width of at least 6,5 meters, from 90 to 70 km/h if the roadway is less than 6,5 meters and with separation marks between both directions, and from 90 to 50 km/h if it is less than 6,5 meters and there are no broken lines between the lanes. On unpaved secondary roads, it will not be possible to circulate in any case at more than 30 km/h.
in cities, the current limit of 50 km/h is expected to be maintained when the streets have more than one lane in each direction. If they have a single lane and a single direction of movement or with one lane in each direction, the limit would drop to 30 km/h, and if urban roads have a single platform of road and sidewalk, to 20 km/h.
